East Cowes
East Cowes is accessible from west Cowes via the floating bridge, which is an original and one of only a few still working in the world.
East Cowes also has a very good Marina, where many people own boats and sail to Portsmouth and France for days out.
The Red funnel car ferry service runs from East Cowes to Southampton on a regular basis and throughout the night (see www.redfunnel.co.uk for timetable details)
